i get this error every now and then and i have no idea why????
regular users cannot login, but administrators can. i have active directory running and terminal services. any suggestions?
thanks
yup i figured it out. what a pain! one has to set the local DOMAIN CONTROLLER SECURITY POLICY, DOMAIN SECURITY POLICY and Local Security Policy under the administration tools.
then under local policies you go to USER RIGHTS ASSIGNMENTS and make sure Log On Locally is set to the correct groups or users. if not set right then one cannot have a regular user logon. VERY BIG BUG! of course microsoft does not have any information on this problem... argh%*^$
