Does anyone know why I could not boot up at 384-407 but when I changed it to 425, it booted without problems? -- Divine Intervention!!
Would really like to know so that when someone else on the forum comes across the same problem I can give back to them what everyone on this forum has been trying to help me with....
Also, does anyone have a guide in lowering these temps or do I have to just lower them one timing at a time? (ie/ 5-5-5-15 --> 4-5-5-15 --> 4-4-5-15, etc)?

Never run 400 with an S3 or DS3 (while testing, anyway). You're using the wrong memory strap at 400 FSB. Try 401 @ 4-4-4-12, and lower your vdimm to 2.1v or 2.2v.
lower memory voltage is not an issue. I'd leave 2.3v or 2.4v until you find out what works, then drop down.
Is the DS3 like the P5B in that you're on 1066 strap with tight timings at 400? or is it different?

I'd like to know as well because I'm getting confused.
On what specific motherboard is running FSB at 400 better than 401?

People are just mentioning 400 or 401 all over the place.
