Why drive a type-r when a gs-r is faster? I've seen dyno plots of the Jackson Racing supercharger on a type-r and a gs-r. Guess which has more HP and more torque. No, it wasn't the type-r. Higher compression on the type-r means you can't bump the boost up as high. Methinks somebody got ripped off.

Because a R-Type is a little cheezy built POS! A ferrari is a finely crafted piece of workmanship. Using only the finest materials, in a production facility where each car is made one at a time. Not with the cheapest material and labor available.

anyways, Somehow Lozer does not offend me much unlike others here but i guess i dont know the whole story. Basically Lozer is some teenager who wants to be cool and supposedly gets a type-r, and supposedly claims to actually race it? and then post his imaginary times bc he thinks its so fast? am ir right,
All i got to say is the Integra and the civic are probably the most played out cars, and the things that have been done to them are extremely laughable. I dont understand the people that still get these cars, talk about lack of originality.

My 1990 GMC Jimmy goes just as fast legally as a Ferrari - and does much better in four-wheel drive.

Not kidding myself, but rather the originator of this thread. In other words, it was just a troll-like response to a troll.
Alright, I think everyone here can agree that Lozer is a moron. However, I personally am not sure whether he is a actual riceboy honestly trying to convince us of the merits of his supposed car, or just a fool trying to make fun of riceboys.
Either way, he's a jackass. Please don't judge all H/A owners by this example however. I own an Integra, and honestly am ashamed by the reputation of fellow owners - some deserved, some not.
The bottom line for me is - ignore morons like this kid, and respect anyone who appreciates their car for what it is...I appreciate my car for being economical (fuel-wise), relatively quick, good handling characteristics, and good-looking (IMO).

I would skip buying the type-R and get an American car... least you can make serious upgrades to them a Z06 has 10.5:1 compres so I would say slap a $3000 6lb Vortech on that thing and for less then 55K you can spank any ferrari or type-R Don't see many Blowers for those 2 only hair dryers and those are $$$$
