Why bother with rebates?

Rebates are like gambling. If I'm not happy with the over the counter price, I won't buy. If I get the rebate, it's a bonus. If not, I'm even money. I've gotten most of mine, but have lost a couple. I'm not willing to fight for them like some do. The time expense and aggravation isn't worth it.

Perspective is messed up! Crying about some pathetic "issue" like "rebates" while IMPORTANT THINGS ARE HAPPENING in real life, such as, for example, around 20,000 kids died from STARVATION just today, and another 20,000 will die again again tomorrow...that was the point. What that OP guy is whining about as "trouble" is just such a ridiculously trivial "problem" compared to REAL TRUE suffering of tens of thousands of people on this Gaia Earth--people who have REAL TROUBLE!!!!

Essentiall the OP doesn't even realize about himself that he's a SPOILED BRAT!!! No perspective on life!
