Why aren't there more murder-suicides?

you murder someone. it's not self defense. you purposely killed that person.

it's one thing that you think you;re going to get away with it.

but when the cops are on your trail, why dont people kill themselves instead of spending life in jail?

death sounds MUCH better vs confined in prison, especially as bubba's love slave

Yes sounds. To kill yourself probably takes a lot (never tried myself :p) of mental powers or just something else. Easier to kill someone else then to kill yourself is what I can gather from the lack of people doing what your saying.

If it doesn't fit, you must acquit.

R.I.P. Johnny Cochran
i think it was more OJ putting a doe-eyed spell on the ladies in the jury.

What if you're Bubba?

Deal gets a lot sweeter.

Aside from that, I imagine killing yourself takes a bit more much-ado than it seems like on paper. The issue here is that we have not yet had anyone perform the procedure and report back, leaving us with a critical intelligence vacuum.

Yup...I agree.

Now, another angle to your original question might be to wonder why more people who commit suicide don't decide to take someone else with them.

I would submit that the reason they are leaving is somehow related to other people's actions or lack thereof.

They probably don't want company.

Think about it - when was the last time you enjoyed a transatlantic flight when that asshole in the seat next to you wouldn't shut up about his burgeoning bikini wax salon?

There probably aren't that many murders that end in suicides for the purpose of evading jail. I'd assume they are mostly from guilt/whatever. That being said... Most jails aren't even that bad. Depending on the sentence and jail, a murderer could have a lot of freedom to take classes, play sports, etc. And anyway, the average prison time for a murderer is something like 7 years now... much better than suicide in my opinion.

I have a problem with this. Prison needs to get back to being f*cking unpleasant. I am *NOT* for rehabilitation, I am for scaring these jarheads straight.
