Why aren't there any funny conservatives?

It's probably just the makeup of what makes a person a conservative and what makes a person a liberal. Why are there very few conservatives in Hollywood? I bet it's the same reason.
Well we all know who runs Hollywood and media. Its not like they are looking for conservatives and the ones there aren't going to run around waving flags. Also consider why female US celebs are often less attractive than girls you see in the mall - and why the models are skinny with boobs starved off and look like boys.
Which is why all the conservative comedians have flocked to uncensored mediums like Youtube. I mean, that place is just covered in funny conservatives.
.... right?
And sorry guys, but Dennis Miller is not funny. When he was liberal he wasn't funny. When he was on Monday Night Football he wasn't funny. When he's on Bill O'Reilly... he's not funny.

I sampled some numbers awhile back, and determined that the liberal/conservative ratio among Hollywood actors corresponded closely to LA county's voting results in the 2004 Presidential election, about 64/36.
So the whole liberal Hollywood bit is about as truthful as the liberal media bit. Just a reflection on the fact that urban areas tend to be more liberal.

What? I was referring to conservatives as being more serious and usually more faith-based. Liberals being more relaxed, open minded, etc. Lends to more actors and comedians coming out of the liberal side of the fence.

Because they're motivated on politics by fear and ideology, instead of recognizing the humor about how conservatives are motivated by fear and ideology.
How can you parody things like Sarah Palin, except from a liberal point of view? What's funny about, say, Henry Waxman's government oversight committee hearings?
To the extent conservative make jokes, unfortunately it's usually based on straw men and invented stereotypes. That's hilarious to their base who believe the lies, but not so much to those who understand that what they're doing is lying.
The right-wing method of instilling outrage all the time doesn't fit well with a lot of humor. "The Democrats will get you killed by Al Queda! And look at Obama's big ears ha ha!"

In psychological terms liberals, artists etc are more open to suggestion - and prone to psychotic illness. In many ways artists are broken people - emotional, adrift in thoughts and feelings, prone to confusing reality and fantasy - what you would call "open minded". This is why an Obama can give suck them in so easy - they live on and by emotional impressions they mistake for thinking. Many are prisoners of trauma and dont know it. This is why they are more prone to drug addictions, unstable relationships, tragedy etc etc
