Most shops in toronto area are asking more than $CDN130 for a 128MB of pc133 ram, that is more then USD$86!! I just check pricewatch, the lowest PC133 256MB price is $90 only, what's the problem??

I almost never buy from stores, always look at the net for the cheapest and order there.

I noticed the same problem, I paid $89.99 plus the sales tax for a total
of $103 for a generic 64 meg dimm! Someone smack me please.

I see ram for under $100 all the time around TO. Go around the shops in Chinatown or UofT. These are generic brands mind you, with only a 30 day warranty. But if you want name brand, you can go to PCCanada and get Microns for $110 a stick.

I got two sticks of Infineon CAS2 PC133 128MB for $119*2. I thought that was a good price. Take into consideration the exchange rate and it's alright.

RAM for $89

This is the cheapest I've seen.
Also have Micron for $109.

As for pccanada they advertise Infineon/Micron that will do cas2 upto 142 but its actually cas3.

To go with Micron chip cas3 or buy from crucial all Micron cas2 $92us all totaled about $180Cdn or $60 more?

ncix.com has corsair cas2 but no price drop yet so the price is absurd.

I don't know why the ram aren't cheap in cananda, but here in Canada the RAM is fairly cheap, such as NCIX and Anitec that were already mentioned. Sorry if this sounds a bit arrogant, but I found his grammer an speling erorrs amusng. :D Heh heh.

I buy my stuff from AMK computers in Burnaby (Vancouver) BC.

It's about $100cdn for 128MB of Infineon PC133 RAM right now.
Not as cheap as the US, but not that bad either.

You need to look around. My bro checked ram prices at London Drugs Tues(yesterday). They wanted $150ish for 128mb PC100 and $250ish PC133!!? He just chuckled about it, for he can get it at wholesale. :)
