But I don't think that's what he's getting at, especially since the next sentence was about a single layer of clothing separating her from the guys, and he later clarified by saying he meant the guy getting something from the girl. It's difficult to read that in a way other than he thinks a diseased stripper dancing on a clothed male will give him her STD.

Actually making ~$1000 a night in a strip club isn't all that far fetched. I have been to many while in the US Navy and dated a few strippers. While the smaller clubs they aren't going to make that, an "easy/decent" night amounted to $500-$600 so $1000 isn't that much of a stretch for a bigger club that might be a little fancier because the one I am thinking of wasn't all that impressive.
