Why aren't Sandy Bridge CPUs discounted?

I also agree with this. However, I'll mention that the P8P67 does have four SATA-3 ports, all of which are working fine and dandy for me. If it wasn't for that, I would have decommissioned and sent the board back (with a great deal of annoyance).

If I already owned a P67 board, was using it, and having no problems, I would continue to use it until I could RMA it for replacement (I buy from B&M stores. I'd keep it until I could walk in and have it replaced.). I'm assuming that when you bought yours you did it before the issues were known.

That makes me feel even better about my purchase. Look for them to go down again after the re-release. (I got mine 2 days after they came out - two weeks later the bug was reported.)
Only a possibility if you live near an MC, which I don't. Unfortunately my area is inflicted with a Frys.
