Why aren't MMOs bigger on consoles?

I used to play Guild Wars with a controller on my PC; it works very well surprisingly.

One thing people don't realize with the lack of buttons issue is that you can have a "shift" key. So say you have skills 1-4 using dpad. Well, L1 + dpad is skills 5-8, R1 + dpad is 9-12, etc.

Kind of like what they did in Dragon Age. You would press a trigger to bring up the other "hotkey" attacks.

I also think the size of a MMO game itself would be to big for consoles. My WoW folder is over 16g. Dont know how many people on a xbox would be willing to give up that much space for just one game. Also I say controls. I tried Dragon Age and even though you could map the keys, it can get confussing when you are in a pinch and need to get to something rather quick while on a PC you just hit the one button by either mouse click or actual key on keyboard.

I think another hurdle is the business model. MMO's want to charge you 15 bones a month to play, but to do it on the 360 or something they would be asking gamers to pony up the standard 15 fare in addition to eating the costs of xbox live gold. Apparently many doubt the viability of a product asking gamers to shoulder both burdens simultaneously.
