There are 119,843 registered users, with between 200 to 800 on at almost ALL times, why?

I'm just here for the food.

How many forums can you find where someone like myself who has been here for 4+ years is still a n00b by alot of peoples standards.

It's the pure random luck that brought us great people who attract more great people...

I came for the Hot Deals, and stayed so I could watch all the cute little n00bs grow up into asshat flamers :p

I used to BBS on the c=64 when I was younger and had some fun. I guess I'm just reliving those times. However, mine only had ~80 users... so needless to say AT forums is one kickass BBS.

I originally came here for hardware recommendations. Then I thought, "hmm, what is "off topic" all about?" yep.

In late 99 I browsed the hardware forums when I started building my first computer and registered to post there in early 2000. I wandered here one day and it was the beginning of a weird and discomforting journey.

Friend recommended this to me while I was troubleshooting some stuff. And then the NSFW pics drew me into ATOT...

Everyone came here initially for computer related help/research/advice, and one fatefull day decided to click on the OT button... the rest is history...

Same here. Found the website and read the articles, enjoyed them a lot. Finally wandered into that "Forums" link and never left.

Started in Video, CPU, & Mobo. Wandered into Notebooks, FS/FT, and Hot Deals. Then OT finally sucked me in despite all my resistance :D
