Why are voicemail systems so damn ....

I don't know what to call it. When I call a cell phone and get the voicemail I want to leave a message, press pound, and it accepts it. I just called someone, left a msg, hit pound, tried to hit pound again, the lady tells me I've hit an invalid key. Then I listen and it tells me to press one if I'm sure I want to send the msg, then it asks me to press one again if I want to send it with normal delivery!

I just want to hit pound and hang up!!!!!

yeah, i hate when voicemail systems make you press like 3 keys just to leave a message.

I always just hang up when I'm finished speaking.
