It's not like opening a .exe file in notepad will install a virus.

Attachment: totally not a virus.exe.txt
Instructions: just rename the file; it's a .exe file, but I had to put .txt at the end so it doesn't get blocked by the email filter.

User: *renames file and opens it*

edit: every version of mail I have used in the last decade detects the .exe file and says fuck off, I don't care what it's named, won't allow it.

Well then I'll send a .zip file containing a .exe file. Can you stop that? I can also attach a .exe file to a .pdf file.

Pizza slider?

And I have enough trouble finding someone competent, let alone trying to figure out their personality.

Running joke that I guess is not a common term -- the idea of having a coder that works with their door closed, never emerging, and you simply slide pizza under the door to keep them fed/working :p

Uhh, yes. All of those would be rejected as containing a .exe file. Modern mail filtering systems will examine the file contents, not the file name (it's completely ignored). If you encrypt, rejected for not being able to inspect the contents.

That'd be a sweet gig. Then I wouldn't have to talk to all these meatbags.

Seems like the more advanced models are more useful for imitating girly-man empathy-mongering democrat politicians. =P

What if I put the .exe on sharepoint then give you a link to it?
