when you buy an AMD CPU platform they assume you have no interest in performance so USB 2.0 will be "good enough" the Rory AMD slogan

AMD - "Good Enough!"

I was referring to internal 3.0 connections.

Probably a chipset limitation or choice of the mb mfgr's to not include internal USB 3.0 connections.

I have found a few FM1 socket AMD motherboards with internal USB 3.0 connections, but that doesn't help you. But it sort of leads me to believe the chipset on the mb is the problem or limitation.

Hahaha... yeah.

Just go Intel and you'll have plenty of onboard USB 3.0 options.
Don't all Z77 motherboards have onboard these days?

I thought AMD's new south bridges came with native USB 3.0 logic?
