It's called ports of entry. Most of the computer hardware sold in the US arrives in Calif. from overseas. So of course there are going to be a ton of shops selling that stuff since it's coming in daily. Why bother setting up shop to sell hardware over the net if you'd have to have it shipped once it got off the boat. If you're a company in Calif. you can pick it up yourself and save money.
