Why are the Palestinian continuing with the bombings? Has czar comdemened it ;)

Why? Because it's all they know how to do. Born and bred to hate and kill Jews.

Some do; many more do not. All these "give peace a chance" advocates will just continue to apologize for the terrorists and try to find some other leg to stand on to justify terrorism by Palestinians.

Meanwhile, Israel keeps taking it in the nuts.
 
Czar is not without reason. He jus happens to sway heavily in favor of the Palestinian cause. I and some others do not.

I see Arafat has complete control of the bombers and who organizes them.

And any peace agreement I see coming down through all of this will prove Terrorism works.
 
yesterday I saw this really amzing documentary on CBS about this. They actually followed a bunch of kids from both palestinians and jewish side for a period of 4 years. The most dramatic change was regarding this little palestinian girl. In 1997 she was a young enthusiatic girl full of life wanting to meet israelit kids and talk to them and know them better. But when they showed the same girl again 4 years later she was soo bitter and angry and fanatical in outlook. She was saying that she felt proud everytime someone blew themselves up in Israel and that she too wanrted to become a "martyr for the homeland" It was very very sad and shocking to see this dramatic change in that girl. After seeing that documentary I believe its called promises I now think theres really no solution to this problem. They also showed a bunch of israeli kids who had also become very hardened and insisted that all palestinians had to move out of israel. I guess the nly solution is for palestinians to realize that they are not going to get all their land back and must settle for a compromise.

Interesting. What happened to the other kids they followed?
 
FWIW I'll condemn those attacks 🙂. I think both sides should stop the violence, and sit down together with Saudi-Arabia (who came up with the latest peace-proposal) and USA and really talk about peace! But before that can be reached, both sides should compromise, so road to negotiations could be opened. Israel has taken the first steps to that direction when they withdrew from several palestinian areas, and I urge the palestinians to do something in return (well, what I want doesn't really matter).

It's not just the Palestinians, the people who give them weapons and money such as Iran and Syria don't want peace with Israel, since they see Israel as their blood enemy. Iran doesn't want a peace with the help of the US.

Absolutely. Additionally, the same advocates continue blaming IDF for all of the shortcomings in the conflict. One hears very little from them when Intifada Iqbad blows himself up in a public place. Yet when IDF goes in, the screaming begins.

Arafat is part of the problem. Story in USA Today last week described one of the terror factions taking orders directly from him.

Good question. I hope that they take advantage of this situation and talk with Israel.

But if they don't... I think Israel would have the right to defend itself. I just hope they wont go as overboard as they have recently done (well, that also applies to both sides).

But, in the end, constructive dialogue is the only way to really achieve anything. Blowing each other up solves nothing.
 
All the Bombers are going to do is cause their own people much greater suffering.In addition,for Isreal to negotiate with the Palestineans while these types of terrorist attacks continue would only encourage other terrorists to do the same. On the other hand, if they don't negotiate the killing is going to continue. Obviously it's a no win situation for Isreal. I believe that the situation there is going to get much worse before it get's better and I haven't the foggiest idea of what they can do to prevent it .

My gut says they wont stop the attacks even long after Palestine has been established as a nation.

But I hope you are proven right.
 
Current bombings prove one of two things to me (last one is less than 3 hours ago)
1. Arafat is disingenuous by saying he didn't order the attacks. If he didn't know about the attacks or was ignored then he is...
2. irrelevant because he obviously cannot control the Palestinians.

Disingenuous or irrelevant what is his function? Riddle me that Batman.

That's the question I'd like to ask too...what happens if the government of Israel agrees to take her soldiers out of the region while the Palestinian Authority agrees to stop the violence, yet it happens that Arafat is unable to call the dogs off?

I really think Arafat has very little control over the militants--stemming from the fact that the militants want something very different from what the Palestinian Authority *officially* wants
 
Israel should unilaterly recognize a palestinian state. Close their border with Palastine and any millitary action that results from palestine will result in millitary retribution as an act of war. Israel's big problem in retailiating is that they aren't retailiating against a nation-state. They declare the state along the boundaries they want then punish the state when they are attacked. Everything would be clean and legal under international law.

Israel was ready to talk peace. The palestinians obviously aren't. They obviously dont want peace. So, what is their goal? Do they really think Israel's gonna pull out because they murder Israeli civillians? What they did today and yesterday probably sealed their fate in the eyes of Israel. And no, their fate was NOT sealed beforhand anyway. Oh, it's nice to see that Arafat condemmned the attacks. I'm sure he sits in his office laughing his terrorist @ss of before he goes and orders yet another attack. It's really quite unbelivable how he ever became a legit statesman" or "leader". This guy devoted 40 years of his life to perfecting terrorism, and now he's a "leader". Well, now the peace talks are called off, and if Israel hits 'em in force, with everything they got, the Palestinians can only blame themselves. I'm sure France and the rest of the EU will complain bitterly. I'm sure the UN and Amnesty International will condemn Israel. I hope Israel doesn't give a sh!t, and just goes and takes care of business.
 
Arafat condemned the attack for the western eyes, I don't see him telling his people that the terrorists are evil and need to be stopped. All he ever did was ask them to stop the bombing a while back, and never condemned them as terrorists.

Palestinian suicide bombing => IDF encroachment into Palestinian areas => Palestinian suicide bombing => IDF kills some militants => Palestinian suicide bombing => IDF sends rockets into Palestinian Authority buildings => Palestinian suicide bombing => IDF withdraws and Israel talks of a cease fire => Palestinian suicide bombing 😕
