Why are the forums so slow ???

Several weeks ago when AT redesigned the forums it seems that they didn't add much new functionality but made the whole system a whole lot slower. Anyone know why ? Anyone know if there is anything we can do to speed it up ?

Disconnect your internet connection. Works wonders for me.

yeah, stop posting .......you are right...the forums are horridly slow for me....its all good though...it will discourage the nefs from posting all the time.

yes it's horribly slow for me too..

it takes years to post, and when you submit the post, sometimes it just freezes.. very annoying.

Its slow from 4-9MST (Or is it MDT now?) for me ususally then speeds up to lightning quick around now...

It's slow because there has been a sudden influx of new users over the past few months... and all of the use is catching up to what the servers can handle.
