My family takes a lot of pride in keeping a nicely manicured lawned and we love to grow vegetables in our garden. A house behind us (their back yard runs into our back yard) doesn't share the same views of yard work. The older, fat bastard sits on his computer in the basement and comes outside and mows his front lawn once every two weeks (!!!!!) when the grass is about 10" high and does his backyard every month or two so the grass gets as high as 24".
My dad did some research and found out the city/county/state law or whatever stipulates that the grass should be maintained at 8" or lower in a lawn in a neighborhood, something like that. Don't quote me on the various requirements, but I'm pretty sure it was 8".
The city came out, or people they contracted, and cut the guys back yard (maybe 1/3 an acre) and gave some paperwork to him that probably said "mow your lawn".
What I don't understand is how people can neglect their living space... this guy doesn't maintain his body or health, doesn't maintain his unkept house, and doesn't maintain his yard.
GET THE F*CK OFF the computer and mow the lawn and lose your weight and clean your computer room and THEN get back on the computer.
