Why are some of my BRITISH settlers in AOE3 black?

nah, he's black as the ace of spades...down to the hands...

As to specs it runs fine at 1024 max settings (no AA) on my 2.1Ghz AXP, 1gb RAM, 9550@faster than 9600XT speeds.
 
is this a demo or a beta? i thought AOE3 wasn't coming out until fall

i want to buy this game, is it out yet?

i forgot to say i get ~20fps with my rig (9800 pro is on RMA atm 😛).
 
I don't see what the problem is. You tell him to mine, he mines. You tell him to farm, he farms. You select him and press delete, he dies. Just like colonial black "settlers".

Anybody else have the problem where the priests lie on their backs instead of standing? Since they carry a walking staff, it looks like they've been impaled through the back on a pike.

 
I just played the demo campaign, what's up with British colonial musketeers and dragoons being the only units for an American railroad company in the 1870's??

All the peons are British too!

Also... why did you take a screen shot to zoom in on the settlers, then resize the pic to 56k size, and completely negate the whole point of zooming in the first place? 😕

I never noticed black settlers when I played the demo.

add in Garth, some Sarah, a lot of Metallica and Zeppelin, some Tupac, some Blink...a lot of DMB...

In High School I used to like taking some of the ballads/hits of bands that they hated and putting them on a DOLBY cassette mix 🙂 and getting them to get all *perked* and asking about it when the song they didn't know came on.

i just used print screen is all...and i didn't zoom, the 2nd shot is a white settler...

I think I have a GeForce 4... or maybe it's a GeForce 3 actually... played alright for me, but I turned all of the settings down.

ok, started playing the demo in single player mode.

1) how do i make alliances w/indians?

2) suggested build orders?
