Why are so many actors so short?

It's obviously because of the asian ancestors.

guinness has the tallest actor being vince vauhgn and someone else at 6'5" wow... that's only 3" taller than me... and puts actors and actresses into perspective for me

I t stems from wanting to build cheap movie sets in the old days. It cost a hella lot more to build a set over 6' than say under 5'10". Of course things are changing now, but the habit stuck.

James Cromwell is 6' 7" (2.01 m). He's also the tallest Oscar-nominated actor of all time (he was nominated for Best Actor in a Support Role in Babe (1995).

The shortest actors in Hollywood are not Jewish-- Emmanuel Lewis, Gary Coleman, Verne Troyer, Danny DeVito, etc.

Plus my Jewish fiance is 6'1''. I'm a Jewish woman at 5'7''. My grandfather was 6'6'', my little brother's 6'2'', and my uncle's 6'4''. My Jewish mother is 5'10.5''.

Jews are not "shorter" than any other group as we are from all over the world, including Ethiopia, Denmark, etc.
