Price checks are not allowed because they eventually lead to auction style posts which are strictly forbidden

I'm not too sure myself, but as I understand it, it has something to do with the no thread crapping in FS/FT. Something like looking for a better price. Not a very coherent thought... maybe someone can phrase it better than I can in this case.
