Why are people so stupid?

No because the states passed all these stupid laws that say you have to wear a seatbelt while driving and a helmet on a motorcycle.Repeal these laws and guaranteed the gene pool will improve.
 
b/c if everyone had our intelligence level then the super smart people would call US stupid

its all relative stupid is not really stupid its AVERAGE
and those above average think that average is to low and thus call it stupid

and also the theory of darwinism doesn't work to well in our society b/c of all our technology
yes some people will be SO stupid they will kill themselves (Darwin Awards)

but most are protected enough that they don't starve todeath and thus not reproduce
 
For the same reason they always will be, they are content to sit by and let others fix their problems for them, instead of doing the work and learning how to themselves. 😉

Learning requires effort.

Worse still, the more you learn, the more you realize you don't know - therefore, stay dumb as a post and you feel like you know everything!

i seriously think if u could get the president or your HMO to tell u that your health would improve if you just walked into the ocean and kept on walking we would end up with alot of dead idiots....and a lot of fat sharks
 
It's not due to a lack of education. People go to school, learn the three Rs and that's fine.

The problem is when people get on with their lives AND THEY QUIT LEARNING.

They QUIT LISTENING.

They QUIT EXPERIMENTING.

They QUIT EXPLORING.

They get into their lazy rut lives and have no motivation to persue anything that will expand their minds.

It's sad. But it's true. Beyond what is learned in school and what brings home the bacon every week.... people ARE stupid.

I was thinking of ideas for an article for the next issue of the political newspaper at my school, and every topic I thought of I thought to myself: &quot;damn people are just stupid&quot;. I'm leaning towards writing about the stupidity of the majority of humans.
 
hmmm and it could be b/c some people have absolutely no street smarts....some how some way that needs to be taught

one of my smartest friends has an iq of genius but has the street smarts of a....i dunno wombat

and the person with the highest GPA at our school is the same he also has no social skills either


go for it sounds like a good topic but rember to put on your flame retardant pants before doing so

B/C either:
1. They are not thinking (about whatever the issue is); or
2. They think they are right, but never REALLY thought about it.

A lot of the above live where I do--I am moving. Don't ask where I live b/c I don't want to piss off the stupid people.
 
hey i live in plano the place of the rich people who don't have to learn b/c their daddy is rich

so we have a bunch of fake bake bleach blonde ditzes at our school and alot of athletic guys who don't know crap....oh wait thats the norm nevermind
 
I used to think that stupid people were just a regional thing around here... Then I started working for an international company and dealing with people from all over the US. Things look grim for the Human Race. Those who are dumb are the ones who go around boinking other dumb people without protection who will fall for whatever lines are thrown at them. They end up reproducing without meaning to and doing society a great injustice. Stay at the head of the pack and live life to the fullest. Pass up as many people as you can and try to not only improve your mind, but your quality of life. (not just money, but happiness). As you move up the food chain, you'll realize that finding your niche in this world isn't all that difficult, but never settle for what's easy. That's the mistake of those boinkers. How do I know all this, you might ask? My friends and I used to be the boinkers, but knew enough to invest in raincoats... I'm living in an upscale apartment with a killer view, they're heading toward their own personal &quot;Get a Life&quot; series.

 
Relative.. we all have stupid moments. of course, there's a concentration within each person.. waiting to be relieved.. contantly by some. Why are those people so stupid?

Who the fvck are you to go around talkin shiet about the majority of the people in this world? I wouldn't doubt that ur an a$$hole in person.
