Why are people so dumb?

Binary search trees are not that hard to understand! I've been sitting in class and for the last half hour people have been asking stupid questions like "Why doesn't the number go on the other side of the tree?"

Wait until you get to red-black trees. They always seem to flummox the masses.
The worst thing about algorithms is that the algorithms are GIVEN TO YOU! RIGHT IN THE BOOK! All you have to do to implement them is convert their psuedocode to your language of choice. It's so freakin easy.

just took my final today. BST, heaps, all the good stuff. Was explaining the difference between a BST and a heap before class. Fun stuff!

Some of the rules and definitions for different kinds of trees are arbitrarily counter-intuitive. However, that doesn't mitigate the fact that people are dumb.

Yes, I asked a question abour Reverse Polish Notation. Note that I only asked one question, and did not repeat the same question half a dozen times, and force the same answer to be repeated to 40 other people besides myself those half dozen times.
