Meh. Unless you have a crystal ball we will have to wait and see. The only reason I would REALLY like to see bush win is to see you personally cry and whine for 4 more years.

Kerry is against Taiwanese independence and the Taiwan Security Act - that pretty much puts my vote over to Bush

I also work in the defense industry, which Bush has dedicated tons of money to

There are a lot of forces working against Bush at the moment. If things in Iraq don't make a drastic change for the better, you can kiss Bush goodbye. The Rep. may be the kings of the smear campaign, but I'm sure the Dem. will do their own mudslinging come election time.

Why I'm voting for Bush?

I received a ton of money from his tax cuts on capital gains. I like guns and God. I feel that it's unfair to tax higher income individuals more for being financially successful. So does he. And I also think that faith-based schools have a positive role to play in our education system. So does he. And lastly, well, from a career standpoint, I feel that it's a waste of time to try to rehabilitate some criminals. So does he.

Obviously Lurch doesn't agree with any of this.
This is Lurch...

I've read the 2nd Amendment, and indeed the entire Constitution. Sometimes I dont think the USSC has ;) . But anyway, lets talk facts *gasp*.

1.) Bush says he'll sign an extension to the Assault Weapons Ban if Congress sends it to him. It may be posturing, but in any event, his stance and Kerry's match up on the AWB.
2.) Since I've yet to hear Kerry say ANYTHING about class 3 weapons, he isnt doing anything to restrict legal possession of fully automatic weapons in the USA, since the AWB covers only semi-automatic weapons. It has nothing to do with banning fully automatic weapons. As far as Class 3 weapons go, I've only heard of one legally owned and registered Class 3 weapon being used in a crime, and that was a police officer who went vigilante with his Mac-10 on a rapist who got off on a technicality.
3.) People do use weapons banned by the AWB to target shoot. The AR-15 is very popular in several types of target shooting, and the AWB outlawed many configurations of the AR-15.
4.) I have hunted with an AR-15. Put a five round magazine in there and you're good to go, with a weapon no less sporting than any other semi-automatic rifle.
5.) Feinstein and her supporters b!tch about people making cosmetic changes to guns and then being able to legally sell them. Though she really should have expected this sort of thing to happen when she banned guns based on cosmetics.
6.) No one is going to take away guns? Tell that to anyone in NYC or DC who wishes to own a pistol legally. Though given their gun homocide rates, it is rather apparent that anyone who wishes to own a pistol there illegally is able to do so.
7.) Regarding the "something that is ment to kill people and alot of em", find one criterion of the AWB aside from detachable magazines that helps make it easier to kill a lot of people with a "assault weapon". Collapsing stock? No. Pistol grip? No. Flash hider? No. Bayonet lug? WhenTF is the last time you heard of a bayoneting, that involved the bayonet being mounted on the rifle at the time?
8.) The Second Amendment is not there to guarantee the ability to hunt or to defend yourself from individuals who may wish you harm. It is there so that if the government of the USA ever slides into tyranny, the people of the USA will be able to resist effectively. Really, numbers 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 are irrelevant. There is no need to justify why someone should have their Constitutional rights.

Not with my tax dollars. Last thing we need is goverment faith based welfare. Seperation of Church and state buddy ! Besides if you want to take federal goverment aid then you better be ready to adhere to the federal goverment policies that go with it.

I'd think your beloved Jesus would disagree with this statement.

Too bad the Dub and his network of nefarious Neocons have put that war on the back burner whilke they prosecute the Dub'd excellent adventure in Iraq!

It wasn't before the Dub's ill conceived invasion and occupation of the Sh!thole called Iraq! Now that we jumped the shark there we have to follow it through. Prior to the invasion of Iraq the only terrorist there was Saddam and his henchmen and their victims were the people of Iraq. Frankly I care about them as much as they care about us which is not very Much. Remember those assholes dancing in the street after the 9/11 attacks? And we are sacrifici9ng American lives and Billions of dollars so they can be liberated? Fsck that! If told the truth instead of the BS about Vast quanties of WMD's, Advanced Nuclear Weapons programs, iminent threats (the Brtis told that whopper and the Dub ran with it) and direct ties to the Leadership of Al Qaeda I seriously doubt the Dub would have gotten the support he needed to launch his and the Neocon's excellent adventure in Iraq.

That's where the Thou Shalt Not Kill comes from. Besides Jesus changed the whole convenent, God didn't tell them to gather an army and throw out the Romans. They are Christians, and as such they follow Christ, the old testament is just prologue, and the basic framework on which the new covenent is built.

From the very beginning GWB said we were going into Iraq to protect American lives because if any of the reasons you listed which the US, Great Britain, and the others of the Coalition of the Willing, were true, then more attacks were possible. I for one would have us act first instead of waiting for more attacks and untold thousand more dead.

That's funny! Could you be more specific?
There are probably a number of answers to that, it all depends on which stances on the issues you want to see him on.

Because they are not communists.

Face It Kerry loves you and wants to protect you by voting against all bills for the military and raising your taxes. The real question is why would anyone vote for Kerry that is sane?
