Why are people more attracted to their own race?

However I believe that if you raise an asian person in a predominantly white area, he will end up being more attracted to white people than an asian who grew up with mostly asians.

I didn't mean it like that. I meant that she grew up in a white family (except for her adopted brother, who is also asian) and went to a predominantly white school. People are comfortable with what they are familiar with. For her, it would have been mostly white guys. It's not that she doesn't like black or asian guys, she's just not romantically attracted to them.

To be honest, I find white women easily themsot attractive, many asian women are decent, but few are even close to most white women in my opinion. I have NEVER met a black person that I considered attractive, and I have pretty low standards right now. Even black models and famous black actors don't even remotely turn me on. And women that are dark black look completely repulsive to me. I know that sounds terribly reacist, but that is just how it is, I don't know how to change it. I really am not a racist in anyway (and I'm nto jsut saying this), I barely notice race in professional, academic, or social settings. But in a sexual sense race has a huge factor. I can only assume that this would have to be a genetic thing and not a learned/social acctivity. Several black teachers at my high school were married to white women, nobody I even met said that this was a terribl thing, I was never taught that a white man should not like black women, and yet I don't, so genetics would appear to be the answer.
