Why are my pupils always so big??

I have the same problem. Alot of my friends always ask me what I'm on cause of my pupils.

Anyways, I also sleep with my eyes open once in a while. Does this ever happen to you? I'll just be sleepin away and my eye lids come open. It freaked my wife out the first time it happened, and usually freaks out my friends too.

My eyes are just fvskored.

are your eyes blue? Ive heard that blue eyes are way more sensitive to light...but i am not sure if true or of specifics

I have large pupils as well. The only downside I have learned after talking with Docs is that large pupils make trickey and possibly bad laser corrective surgery. The propblem there comes in primarly with night vision where light gets scattered all over the place because of where they would have to make cuts; on the far outside of the eye due to pupil size.

Another optometrist said I may have better night vision compared to other people but nothing significant.

Basically, it is just a trait. Was that link a picutre of your eye? Mine are close to that and I have dark green eyes; actually they can change color every so often.
Anyhow, as is my understanding green is the most recessive eye color (yes more so than blue) so maybe pupil size is related to that.

Would be interesting to find out the eye color of other people with large pupils.
