why are motorcycles legal on public roads?

With all the mandatory safety equipment required on cars nowadays, I'm thinking to myself it's kinda silly to allow people to drive something with zero safety equipment.

Saftey equipment in cars prevents injuries, saves insurance companies money.

People on motorcycles don't often get injured, usually they get killed, which saves insurance companies money.

The beginning of this most recent season was pretty intense...although it got quite repetitive and tiresome towards the end.

The season where they were in Ireland was pretty decent, IMO.

Dude at my workplace claimed to have moved a loveseat on his bike. I didn't actually see it. Another dude claims that he'd pick up a pizza on his bike.

I've seen dudes at the grocery story stuff things into backpacks, and I'd seen them with side bags mounted to the bike.

I opt to drive my car when I go to the grocery store.

You can definitely do pizza on a motorcycle because I once had a neighbor that did it. All it takes is a bike with the with right kind of rear fender and bungie cords. In some cities they even deliver pizzas on mopeds and motorcycles. They mount a special pizza box to the back of the bike.
