I'm sure i'm not the only one to notice this. It always seems that many people (not all) who sell anything remotely related to computers or even just know a decent amount about them seem to always come across as arrogant in their struggle to convey their opinions.

What do you think causes this?

LOL despite being a "computer person", I'll admit to this and say that this is infact true. I myself do this and so do a lot of other people, and if you want to go with stereotypes, it's generally the nerdy white kids. I've found that people of "other" backgrounds tend to not be like this (so much), it can and does happen with "other groups" but for the most part in my experience, it's the white nerdy kids who are the most arrogant and abnoxious.

The noobs are the arrogant ones I think...the sales drones.

I love to torment their sales though. Expecially when they throw in total bullshit.

There are some uber dudes that are arrogant..they know they know it all...however; 9 times out of 10 no one is irreplacable and if you constantly piss off senior management; your days are numbered. Meanwhile, try to fire Joe Idiot that schmoozes the Senior Management but is just a drain on the department budget.
