Eh? They're popular in Europe where few people can afford DSL at home, but I've not seen something like that in the States. My friends and I either go to a LAN party at someone's house or just use TeamSpeak.

Edit: :camera: of chicks at said centers?

It's only the 3rd world countries in Europe like Italy, France, Spain and Greece where people haven't discovered the internet yet. More to the north broadband is very common. I think more than half the people in holland has broadband nowadays, and even more in Sweden.

Heh, don't mean to nitpick, but the term 3rd world nations is technically referring to communist nations or those outside of the western 1st world nations during the red scare. So that would disqualify all the countries you've listed so far 🙂

ive observed the exact same thing. theres one around my house too, very close, like 5-8 min. away. and its ALWAYS jam packed. one time i went to the supermarket next to it at like 10pm to pick up my steak and there was a LINE outside. wtf? about less than a year ago, they opened another one in the local mall, and now its packed with teens the ENTIRE time. geez.... ALL the play is counterstrike. i am very serious. some people play counterstrike nonstop.
