Nah, I took out a good friend of mine (gawd, I want her so bad) and her best friend (my best friend's sister) to eat at Olive Garden on Saturday. It's a good thing that they are light eaters. Got out of there for $47 with tip.

Perhaps the amount of women on the board perpetuating the stereotype of the average AT user as a socially-inept male whose mouth waters over women and has no chance of being with any of them is actually becoming a hindrance on the board. Notice that rarely is a reply ever seen in regards to calling somebody a 'pimple farmer' but if I ever posted anything calling all women over 30 old and disgusting or something along those lines, I wouldn't hear the end of it.

The double standard in this situation is appalling. The women basically call the male users rejects and the male users walk on eggshells around the women users for fear of looking like a male chauvenist or being in contrast of them because of their status. Well I've had enough of that. I'm not a pimple farmer and I don't owe anybody anything to prove that I'm not.

I treat baffled, AP, MrsSkoorb, HotChic, JFur, etc with respect because they treat me with respect. Why should it be any different than it is with anyone else? There's a good deal of ribbing that goes on, like it does with any of the guys.

If it's that big of an issue for you, maybe you really do have issues.

Seriously, many of the people my comments are directed at are actually friends and I wish I had a buck for every PM I've answered asking me seriously for advice which I do give to the best of my ability.

As far as comments about women over 30 being disgusting we see plenty of em here and quite frankly since that label doesn't apply to me I try to laugh it off, if the label "pimple farmer" doesn't fit you then you don't have to wear it 🙂

I've found that in American culture, most of the skinny/pretty chicks think they have free license to act however they want - that is, like a spoiled brat. Of course, a lot of the "pretty guys" are like that, too, so it's a good match. Most of those idiots will never know what it means to have true intelligence, or to read and enjoy the beauty of Plato, Sophocles, Lewis (to name a few) - when you're caught up in your own vanity, that is the cost.

That being said, to stereotype all "skinny/pretty chicks" as mean is foolish and immature. You have to have self-confidence, maturity and intelligence to attract women. Sometimes, even if you have all three, but are desperate, you'll still drive women away.

Women can spell a desperate man from a mile away, and they run.
