It seems that they are still printed. And those websites are still trying to sell subscriptions. Why? We have Google.

One time, when I was still an internet virgin, I was looking up something about dogs, and I got a site about filthy pregnant women who suck large erect dogs. Not just women sucking dogs, but filthy pregnant women sucking large erect dogs.

It's just easier too. There's a reason that the eBook craze never amounted to anything, reading a book is simply much easier than reading the same thing on a computer screen. I still prefer my Encyclopaedia to the internet for basic research.
