Why are Canadians so Apathetic About Government?

I was born here in Canada and it amazes me that most Canadians don?t do much about issues that they?re not happy with. Myself included. Could it be a lack of community?

I am not exactly sure what you are talking about.

If you are referring to public protests, I suggest that you take a look at Queen's Park in Toronto when Evil Mike tries to push students, teachers, nurses, doctors, or anyone else too far. If you are talking about politics perhaps you should compare Canada and the States in terms of the percentage of eligible voters who actually cast votes (hint, Canadian don't come out looking too badly...). If you are talking about patriotism, well then thank god that Canadians are afflicted with national jingoism bordering on hysteria like some of their southern cousins...
