Why are Bosch lawn tools not available in America?

An angle grinder can serve as an adaquate stand-in for most powered lawn tools. Bosch makes those.

Their tools are ridiculously expensive, I don't think is there is a big enough market for high end yard tools.

It would take me a month to get anything done with that.

In general, Bosch's stuff is ridiculously well built.

I bought some of their wind shield wipers, and 3 years later they're still working well. Not like new, but they've lasted 3 times longer than the cheap ones.

Too expensive for the US market?

I've visited their power tools plant in Leinfelden, Germany many times.

Just buy a nice Bosch reciprocating saw. There are very few yard tasks you can't accomplish with that, the right blade, and a little ingenuity.

If you want the highest quality and dependability, I highly recommend Stihl to anyone looking for lawn equipment.

Maybe they don't want to spend the resources necessary to determine the amount of idiot stickers that need to be attached to each tool to protect themselves from costly lawsuits.
