why are ATOT people scared of angry emotions

I don't necessarily "fear" them, I just see no point in getting into a heated discussion with someone when no one ever changes their opinion.

Edit: Plus these "discussions" or "debates" generally degrade into flamewars and personal insults pretty quickly. More so in P&N and in the Video forum, lately.
 
There aren't any debates there but rather attacks back and forth. It gets way too ugly for an honest debate.

And if you don't hate the USA you are pretty much unwelcome there. :thumbsdown:

I don't see the use for them other than sarcasm. If you get actually get pissed on a forum you are a retard imo.

That said P&N in general is annoying as fvck and I I am thankful I actually make it outside for my reality check.
 
there is alot of blind stupidity in P&N. People who are emotionally convicted beyond reason- we do not fear them, we just don't want to deal with them.

It's cause life sucks.

I spend 10 hours a day at school, come home, sit in front of the computer, do a crapload of homework, nef on ATOT, study for tests which I know I'm going to fail, and then sleep (4-5 hours if I'm lucky)

Or at least it's been like this for the past 5 months.

It ain't scary. It's just unpleasant. Most people only have a few hours of "do what the fvck ever I want" time every day, so why should they waste it on stressful arguments with strangers, most of whom seem to use one or more easily defined logical fallacies with such mastery and experience that it would take a decade or more of UNlearning just to compete?
