When people stopped eating fat in food and started consuming sugar in drinks. Sugar in baked goods and pastries didnt help either, and HFCS is even worse.

Hfcs isn't any better or worse than regular old table sugar

Didn't read (looked like one of those adware type sites), but one major factor is probably also the life style of live to work instead of work to live. America is a fast paced business world where lives revolve around working. People don't have as much time to themselves nor have time to properly eat and/or work out.
That is exactly right. I also said that long work hours and commute and overall greater stress and pressures play a big part

Unfortunately the rest of the world is following in America's footsteps. In Bangkok, we have KFC, McDonalds, Chesters, Pizza Hut, Star Bucks, etc.. The children walk around with ice cream cones. Thai teens are putting on weight. I saw a child with rotting teeth scarfing down a chocolate popsicle. It was the same in South Korea. Coffee is a favorite beverage and they scarf the sugary drink down on a daily basis.

I'm not a conspiracy nut, but I do believe that big pharma loves this new trend. Their goal is to make more money. That's all they care about. What better way to increase profit then to go overseas. Introduce developing countries to the American lifestyle, then over a period of 20-40 years decrease their overall health. Diabetes, blood pressure, depression and other preventable diseases are all likely to increase. Finally, you introduce the masses to prescription pills to "cure" their disease that was preventable to begin with. They are now prescribed meds for the remainder of their lives. A 35 year old person who is on meds will probably have another 30 years of life. That's 30 years of buying meds. It's a win win situation for big pharma, and a HUGE loss for society.

I believe that 90% of all med usage could be cured by living a simple lifestyle. Exercise and clean eating are key to staying off meds. It's key to a better life! I'm not saying you can't eat ice cream, pizza and candy. You can eat it. You just can't eat it 7 days a week.

Check out Joe's Cross 60 day juice diet. He was taking meds at the age of 40. His overall health was in a serious decline. At the end of his juicing he was able to lose weight, and he was able to throw away his meds.

You believe this lie? People have the time It's how you would rather use your spare time.

Say an average person works from 8am-6pm. That's 10 hours a day. Within that time frame you're telling me that you can't fit in a workout routine?

*What's wrong with waking up early to exercise?
*What's wrong with working out after work?
*What's wrong with working out on the weekend?
*What's wrong with a 30 min workout, and working out for 1-2 hours on the weekend?
*What's wrong with a M,W,F plan or a T,TH plan. What about only weekends?

I know having responsibilities and taking care of the family is a draining event. People bring up stress, but stress is better handled by people who workout.

People will give all kinds of excuses. Then one day they are having chest pains and need to see their doctor. They are then forced to exercise or else face death. Proactivity is the key.

Dalai Lama on Man:

Man surprised me most about humanity. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.
