Why am I so lazy?

I seem to be such a lazy person.

For example:

-I could study, but I will probably get a A on the test anyway
-I could work out, but I'm too tired
-I could stop eating these swedish fish, but they're so damn good

I have spent the first 5 days of summer vacation doing nothing (playing video games and watching television). I know I should/could be doing something, but I'm too lazy. I think I have a motivation problem. Anyone have any tips or experiences about overcoming laziness. I always say that "tomorrow I will get something done." But then I forget. Must be brain laziness.

Think of when you're 60 and looking back on your wasted life, and this moment comes to mind. Now see if you want to change anything. If not, then :cookie: for you.

There's no reason to try to do anything, really. Chances are it won't work out the way you wanted, and even if it does it probably won't be worth it. Actually, it's easier to just not bother.

That's part of the problem. I always have in my head that I will succeed, but I do not know if this laziness will allow me to fulfill my aspirations.

if you had nothing (no stuff, and were starving due to no food) then you might be less lazy

buy a bus ticket to a town 500 miles away and take no things, no money , nothing , not your wallet or clothes and live as a homeless person for a couple of weeks and see if you get less lazy after you get home from your experiment

Sounds like you're in HS if you're just getting out of class.

I'd change your lazy ways and get motivated. Otherwise, college is going to be a rude awakening for you.

You've been trained to be lazy. Standards are kept low in schools in order to reward laziness. This ultimately reduces competition for control over society, while increasing competition for low wage jobs. Have fun.

Yes, I want fries with that.
