Well, not me really - but my Athlon. I have a new 1.33Ghz Athlon system. The guys at the office have just built up a few of these and there were some spares left - so I grabbed some and built up yet another PC for myself.
The CPU temp is 40 deg C after it's been used a lot. The office PC's are like 60 Deg C - and I understand that's quite normal. Same mobo - Asus A7V266-E.
I'm not sure that kind of cooler is fitted in the office PC's, but I bought a Cooler Master DP5-6131 fan. The case has a 'silent' 300W PSU plus an over-the-CPU 'silent' fan.
It's not like I'm living in a deep freeze - so why is my PC so cool?
The only other PC I have with a temp sensor is an A7V133-E with a 1Ghz Athlon and that's showing 31 Deg C for the CPU temp.
Or am I living in a deep freeze and not realising it? I don't have a room thermometer so I'm not sure what temp it is here...
