how do some of those guys get back up so quick?

If nothing breaks it's easy to get up quick. In the case of road rash it's almost like it doesn't hurt until you stop moving. I've gone down before on the street a couple times and a lot more when riding dirt bikes. The first thing I do is get up and run around in circles. I have no idea why. LOL

The Youtube Age has made me numb to such horrific crashes.

These aren't all that horrific.

By the way, the music sucks in that vid. What's up with the emo crap?

Because it's a good way to test that everything is still working!

As long as you aren't doing something that can result in death or paralysis (or harm others on a public road) and are wearing the right gear, feel free to push your vehicle & skills to the limit. 🙂

Adrenaline junkies don't feel pain - well, unless a bone snaps out of a socket or shatters into smithereens. 😛 A couple of bruises is no big deal.

<---has fallen off a bike several times while 'trying stuff'; never needed a trip to the hospital. Just walked a little funny for a couple of days.

I saw a guy all smucked up on the ground after spilling off his bike. I didn't see him get up and move. 🙁

I'm planning on getting my motorcycle license soon, and the main deterent right now is the 'oh, but you'll die' issue. However, the second I think about it: motorcycle = 'cool' so more retards get on them. Crotch rockets are faster and cooler, so most tards flock to them. They're more affordable than cars and easier to get licenses for. With all this in mind, I wonder how what the injury/death rate would be if the aforementioned would stay the hell away.
