Why am I drooling when sleeping now?

I rarely drooled in my sleep before unless I had a big canker sore on my inner lips but now I've noticed that I've been drooling in my sleep and it's annoying me. Why would I start doing this now? Is it because I'm fatter now? Like somehow my fat cheeks are pushing my mouth open at night so I drool?

In answer to your origianl question, it's because you sleep with your mouth open, probably because you're having troble breathing through your nose for some reason. Do you have a cold? One possible solution would be duct tape.
