Since it is you in your own topic describing yourself, you can be what you want to be.
No such thing as Gay Marriage as far as I am concerned. I will never consider the term valid. Marriage is a union between a man and a Woman recognized by the law and possibly ordained by clergy or a religions institution. It affords the Groom and the Brides protection and rights and also responsibility concerning raising children and supporting other family members. It is more than just 2 people living together.
Very much your right to not want to recognize it. That still doesn't mean that it isn't possible. Marriage is so much more than just a man and a woman and the ability to make a child. It is about loving and honoring another human being and dedicating your life to that person's hapiness, security and welfare as much as your own. Gays are just as capable of raising children and supporting other family members as hetrosexuals. You don't have to be straight to do that, you just need have your head on straight and your heart in the right place. Anything short of that understanding is pure ignorance and bigotry, which you are entitled to have.
Marriage is not a religious ceremony even though it is performed, primarily, by religous figures. It is a state-designated partnership between consenting individuals. Only when you throw religion in the mix does that partnership HAVE to be between those of the opposite sex.
 now that's some truth there.
