Why alot of people hate 'The Human Centipede'?

Am I the only messed up human being for liking the Human Centipede 1 and 2?
It's an Horror movie afterall, then you get people saying it's too glory and scary? WUT!?
People say it's shit and fucked up because it's too glory and scary. SOOO please tell me what is an Horror movie? Moving curtains? Oh please!.. -_-

Anyway, I highly recommend watching The Human Centipede if you like Horror genre movies, and come back to this thread

It was a good movie. I also watched the second, which wasn't as good and really didn't bring much new to the series, but also watchable.

I also liked Movie 43, though.

So I assume OP is aware a Human Centipede 3 is in the works, with a 100 person chain as the 'goal'. Now you may ask yourself how any plot can explain over 100 people missing from society, so I will clue you in: it takes place in a prison, which actually makes it a sorta believable plot and I hope it improves on the first two films.

I keep trying to talk my co-worker into watching 1 and 2 to get him ready for 3, but he usually just tells me to go away. I try and do it over his lunch to get him thinking of the trailers of both movies I made him watch.

The whole thing sounds more like a parody or scat porn than a horror movie.

It was devoid of any plot and the "shocking" scenes weren't that great either.

The problem with the human Centipede (1) was not that it was scary/gory in any way shape or form, it just left a really bad taste in my mouth (I went there)... Not bothered with watching the second one.

it woulda been better if it was higher budget. the acting and quality of the camera work and all that jazz just made it look pretty ghetto. i still liked the first one. never saw the 2nd one though, heard it was awful.

Ive never seen the movies so how do they explain peoples ability to breathe if they have stuffy nose and how does eating someones poop not make them horribly ill. I did enjoy the South Park version quite a bit.

I watched about two-thirds of it, but it was so bad I couldn't watch the rest.

The acting was absolutely terrible, but the gore wasn't even that gory. It was a remarkably tame movie overall (or at least the first 2/3rds of it was), but when you're talking about a bad cheezy horror movie, tame is a deal killer.
