Why all the chrome?

and most SUVs are pretty small compared to full size trucks and more expensive. 'mid-sized' SUVs used to be called compact because they were based on compact pick ups.

Small amount of chrome on my car and I like it. Not surprising some snob from the old world islands doesn't like it. I won't lose sleep over it.

Now that makes for a question as to why you have 3 cars but yet you ask why we use pickup trucks...? A truck is a multi-purpose vehicle so it takes the place of the car and SUV and more... Yes its a personal choice that has nothing to do with anatomy but more like a person that understands the usefulness of what it is and its uses...


Chrome is nothing more than a way for a person to decorate their auto/truck/bike & boat the way the want... Sure it can be done very tacky but it can also be done in amazing ways that alot of us like to look at...

I have three cars because there are enough members of my family to warrant three, I.e. sometimes we are all out in different cars...

A little tastefully done chrome looks good. There can certainly be too much, though.

OH I Seee.... Sorry I didn't realise that when I asked. Why do americans like chrome, I was in some way representing the UK. I don't give a shit what you think.
