You purport to be a retired member of the Officer ranks in the military (USMC, IIRC).

As a loyal American I thank you for your service to our country. I only have one complaint:

I WANT MY FUCKIN' MONEY BACK!!!

Seriously, after all the money we Americans have paid for your education, training and salary over your career... AND THIS IS WHAT WE GET?!?!?! We would, as a country, have been better off just giving the money to Bernie Madoff or Lehman Bros.

I believe treasury has calculated/forcast cash receipts and expenditure and on that date we will exhaust reserves and need loans (because expected receipts will be too low) to provide the necessary cash to pay all bills.

I.e., it's the date they predict we'll be in a cash crunch and loans will be necessary.

Well said and I agree.

However, that does not mean default. What it would force our Fool, Bobo, the Post Turtle, to do is do what he hates to do, make a decision. After 2 AUG it is, with no further funding via loans, up to the President as to what gets paid and what does not. He can't vote "present" on this one.

I'm sorry that was my error. I did have one other account, for a total of two accounts, on another site(Texas Fishing Forum), not this one. That was only for a short time and has been inactive for years.

I should have been clearer.

What a fucking liar you are. There definitely was not more than 10 names the when I linked it. Your name doesn't go away after so many days/months. And considering you just joined in April 2011........ yeah.
