I like the fact thats it can hold 5 gb and its firewire, but I don't own a mac and it costs a lot.

it's not too bad pricewise for a mac.. it's small, it's firewire, and has a nice 32MB buffer Now if it were only free and worked w/ a pc...

If I had the money to spend on a luxury like that, I think the iPod would be a pretty cool thing to have. Seeing as I probably couldn't afford anything over $10 right now, its not really something to get excited about

For that much money, I'd get the Nomad 2. 20Gigs of space (thats bigger than my hard drive). Granted its not that small, but as long as its smaller then my CD player.

actually, since it can act as a FireWire HardDrive, people have speculated that it will work without a prob once you plug it in a PC FireWire port and I don't see a reason why Apple would purposely sabotage 95% of computer users..

apple probably figures we're all stupid and will run out to buy a mac just so we can use a super cool Ipod? i dont find this hard to believe considering steve jobs is a nutcase...... lol
