Old school HP was awsome. Ugly and heavy; but those things spoke well documented languages(and screwing around in PJL is always fun) and lasted absolutely forever. Canon has some nice inkjets these days.
Indeed, we have a coupe of 100 on site. Might be because I work for them aswell but.. err.. Anyway. I actually have a Xerox DocuPrint P8EX at home thats been treating me nicely. Its a tad old B/W laser printer but have worked as a champ so far. It was free too
My Canon BJC 600 lasted for years and set a new standard for inkjets, the HPs I have owned since just plain sucked. I'm considering a Canon Pixma iP5000 for my next one.
