edit: Okidata for dot matrix, those things are TANKS. I used to support a lime manufacturer, they process lime stone to lime slurry, anyways lime dust is very fine and sticks to everything. These printers held up in quite amazing environments.

we have a Samsung ML-1210 at home which has been magnificent. there's also an HP all-in-one jobby which is good enough for colour prints & scans.
 
gotta be brother. where else can you get a 20ppm laser printer for $80? with a 250-paper tray, 8mb ram, etc. awesome. I love my brother
