Do you guys agree that guys tends to be whooped in the beginning of a relationship, and then later girls tends get more attached and the guy is just like whatevers?

I think so, and a lot of people seems to think so too

Actually, that's so true..I have noticed that. Guys are like all romantic and stuff in the beginning (cause they want sex :p), and then it's like 'yeah whatever' after a while. and I'm a guy ...

yeah, it sucks. we know that we're being led by our nose (figuratively speaking) but we can't do anything about it.

i've gotta defend the under dog here....what about the bad boys or social misfits that women consider it a challenge to conquer?? Get him to to change his hair, clothing, and general style...and then she gets bored with him since she took away the thing that excited her to begin with.

And let's not forget that everyone puts on their game face when they first start dating. Typically, Men do act more overtly romantic in an attempt to make women swoon and feel swept off their feet....while women typically act like a lady who is exceedingly receptive to his laskluster charms and jokes. And after a month or so, the gloves come off with both the men AND women.

my roommate's boyfriend is SO whooped. he apologizes when she's the one that is obviously at fault just so she'll stop. last nite she practically screamed into his voicemail "where the f*** are you" when she woke up in the middle of the night. haven't seen the fallout from it yet.

he takes out our garbage cuz "well its my turn but since he's here might as well let him do it" i tell him "its ok you don't have to" and his gf is right there so he's like "no i want to"

also "he's here. he should do my laundry" she doesn't ask. she assumes. and he does it.

that's whooped.

EDIT: they've been going out for over a year.

dude i've got a million stories about my roommate. i can't stand her! but i'll just tolerate living with her for the rest of the school year.

i really doubt he'll leave her after all the stuff she'll say to him to keep him around.

sacotool: who knows about the sex. i sure don't. :Q:p

I swear I had the same roommate for the first two years of college, except that they have been together for over 4 years now. Unfortunately, his theory is that he's put so much work and time into the relationship that it would be a waste to leave. He doesn't seem to realize that he's only 21 and he has so much more time left and he doesn't have to spend it like that. I was talking to my roommate once and she said that her favorite quality in him is his loyalty, but there were still a whole bunch of things that she has to change about him. I was shocked! Why not just find someone who fits your criteria and skip all the heartache.

As for vi_edit and I, I'm totally whipped. He's just the greatest guy. :):):)
