inspired by the 7800GTX launch and the card i am drooling to have, what has been your most outrageous purchase that you knew was a waste but bought it anyway?


My most outrageous pruchase would probably have to be a flat screen TV i bought a couple of yrs ago...or maybe upgrading my car when it was not needed...

On a side note:

One AMD 4800+ Dual Core Processor, $1200
Two 7800GTX video Cards in SLI, $1300
Having problems urinating and your kids starving for food, but still getting that extra 4fps in half life 2, priceless
