Who's the NewEgg CS user?

Someone joined today just to post in Gen Hardware that newegg OEM hard drives have no manufacturer warranty: thread

It seems unlikely, but it's an issue GH people would be very concerned about if it's true.

I was going to PM the newegg CS rep to ask them to comment but I couldn't find their username from scanning old threads. Does anyone else know it?

Thanks! I was thinking there was also another account, something like "Newegg CS" or "Newegg User" but that should do nicely.

Sorry, I had that bookmarked and thought it listed the username.
Here they are...

Newegg Webmaster
NeweggSupport

FYI, I just received an email from William Lazaro with newegg's customer service in response to my question. As expected, the drives they sell do have manufacturer warranties:

"Thank you for contacting Newegg and informing us of this thread.

These OEM hard drives still hold a manufacturers warranty, anywhere from
3 to 5 years depending on the manufacturer. In addition, a 30-day
replacement is advertised through Newegg, towards a refund or a
replacement.

We'll notify the appropriate parties and post a response to the
Anandtech Community shortly. "
