Yeah and let me see him regenerate fast enough being fed an M60.

Wolverine, much like Batman are more the 'hunter/athletic' types than the true superbeings, they kick a$$ through their smarts, natural ability, and tool. Someone like the Hulk or Superman have powers way beyond these.

Opinons aside. Hulk is Marvel's Prime hero and Superman DC's.



 
The Beyonder "killed" Death, but later brought Death back. Then the Beyonder kind of died. So it's hard to say.

For "Normal" superheroes, Superman for DC, Hulk for Marvel. There was a "Superman vs. the Hulk" collaboration once. The Hulk started pounding on Superman getting madder and madder (and consequently stronger and stronger) because it wasn't having any effect, and after a while, Superman admitted that he was "starting to feel [the Hulk's punches]". They never finished the battle, because, of course, they ended up cooperating and beating the heck out of Lex Luthor and some Marvel baddie.
 
the pheonix (gene grey's trasformation from that alien crystal) the only one I know of that had enough power to completely obliterate the entire universe....otherwise it would be apocolypse followed by superman.
 
In Marvel it's probably the Beyonder.

Thanos with the infinity gauntlet though... he wiped out Galactus, Eon and a few other cosmic types in about 6 pages once.

For DC... maybe one of those legion villains? Seems most all of them could destroy the universe. 🙂

You can't. There is nothing that could sever his spinal cord (it's wrapped in adamantium).

Well, Magneto can own his @ss all day when he had his adamantium skeleton. Then once he lost it, that gets rid of that. His only mutant power is his regenerative capability. Everything else he gained in the experiments done on him.

Besides what about Cyber I think his name was, that had his skin covered in adamantium? He was killed by flesh eating insects.

I think you're wrong about his regenerative ability as well. Its good, but it can't save him all the time. It can only do so much, and if his body is harmed beyond a certain point then he can die.

Onslaught, Apocalypse, or Phoenix with the M'Kraan Crystal would probably be the most powerful.

The only way to defeat him, is by containing him. But even that doesn't last forever.
 
My vote goes for Apocalpys too. Isn't he un-killable?

I would have voted for Superman but he got his arse beat by Doomsday, so he drops to #2.
 
Pheonix from x-men, kicked everyones ass. Even Dark (evil) Pheonix was the most powerful comic book char ever

seconded... i believe i first saw her transformation in What If...? # 3 or 4... i think it was what if X-Men killed the Avengers.
 
You guys are morons. Everyone knows that in marvel it's phoenix. She eats fvcking stars for breakfast. She's more powerful than galactus.
 
Wolverine was owned by magneto who ripped his admantium skeleton out... My vote would go to Thor. Apocalypse is kinda cheap since he just draws energy from a parallel universe that seems infinite. The only way to stop him was to mess around with the past.
